Funerals AT OUR PARISH

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." - Matt 5:3

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18

The loss of a loved one can be a painful experience, and one that aches the heart for many years. Through faith and prayer, we receive consolation that our Lord will reunite us again with our loved ones; for Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and desires to raise us all up to reign with Him in His kingdom. We aspire to help you through our Funeral liturgies to give thanks to God for the life of your loved one, and to draw closer to God who saves us.

Steps for arranging a Funeral Mass OR SERVICE

  1. Contact a Funeral Director who will identify the family point of contact and provide the various options (i.e. casket or cremains; obituary; prayer cards; viewing; cemetery, etc.)
  2. The Funeral Director will contact our parish and together we will discern the date and time closest to what your family desires
  3. A member of our Parish Bereavement Support team will contact the family point of contact regarding funeral readings and arrangements.
  4. We will offer prayers for the soul of your loved one, and for your whole family.
  5. A priest or deacon will preside over the graveside service.
